Worcester enjoys having a wide variety of available community resources. Our most treasured and important resources are our people. The Worcester Public Schools is fortunate to have many individuals from all facets of the community involved with our students, providing a wide variety of volunteer services. This information has been prepared for all volunteers who will serve in the Worcester Public Schools. This information will help to provide volunteers with general information about being a school volunteer. A special note to parents: Whether you are a stay at home parent or a working parent we look forward to having you involved as a school volunteer. Research shows that when parents are actively involved with their child’s’ education there is a direct correlation to increased student achievement. We look forward to your involvement as a volunteer in the Worcester Public Schools.
